At the beginning of the year we learned a lot about the students' responsibilities from the Home-School compact. The students planned a picture to illustrate each of their responsibilities and chose a title. They then recorded themselves reading the responsibilities. They did a fabulous job creating a movie about their responsibilities.

Wonderful Water
We've been studying how various liquids and solids interact with water. We experimented with different solids to see if they would dissolve in water and different liquids to see if they would mix with water. Soon we will also explore the different states of matter with water, solid (ice), liquid (water), and gas (vapor).

Fall Fun Day
Today was Fall Fun Day for kindergarten, first, and second graders. We did seven different centers, playing games that had us working together. It was fabulous fun!
